Rates are 100-percent ITEX based on the nightly rates posted on our website. No discounts apply to barter. The exit cleaning fee and 12-percent taxes are to be paid in cash via credit card, and a $500 security deposit is required, as with all guests, and placed as a temporary hold — not a charge to their card. Exit cleaning is $75 for studios, $100 for 1/1s and $125 for 2/2s. Only one rental unit may be purchased via barter per party, per stay. If more than one unit is requested, other units must be paid in cash.
To confirm availability and reserve, members should call our reservations number at (954) 283-1111 and identify themselves as ITEX members. Our reservationists are very familiar with ITEX and we have rental documents specifically with space that includes your member name and number on the first page.
Guests should be prepared to tell us how many adults and how many children, and how many couples or singles, so we can offer an apartment with the right bedding configuration.
All guests (barter and non-barter) must complete a Short-term Rental Agreement, Credit Card Authorization form and Guest Record form. Once submitted and processed, we will send a confirmation letter with arrival instructions.
Barter guests may book starting two weeks prior to their arrival date to allow cash customers to book first. Advance reservations are stricter for holiday weeks (and holiday premium rates apply) and also for high season from mid-December till after Easter, when only very last minute rentals are allowed if there is space.
As with all barter accommodations, no cancellations once reserved. Only the exit cleaning fee would be refunded.
